The P.E.I. Senior Citizens' Federation is a provincial-wide nonprofit charitable organization consisting of over 50 seniors' clubs, groups, and organizations.

Our mandate is to act as a voice for Island seniors and advocate for a better quality of life on their behalf.

Through our member clubs and local community organizations, we deliver programs and distribute information to Island seniors (adults 50+) Island wide (both members and nonmembers).

Our objectives are:

  • To link member clubs across PEI and provide a vehicle for a stronger voice.

  • To consult with government and other decision makers about seniors’ concerns and to advocate on their behalf.

  • To co-ordinate and organize workshops and seminars that meet seniors’ social and educational needs.

  • To increase understanding of the aging process.

  • To encourage seniors to participate in decisions which affect their lives.

  • To act as a resource and to disseminate information for the benefit of all seniors.

  • To collaborate with other seniors’ organizations.

To co-operate with other agencies and organizations and all others who can contribute to the above objectives.

Our Meetings

The PEI Senior Citizens' Federation meetings are held in May (Annual General Meeting) and October (General Meeting).

Our Annual General Meeting is held in Charlottetown and our General Meeting alternates between Kings and Prince Counties.
